Very tasty and cheap to eat. Super nice staff.
The knight's meal was not really of high quality. You were treated very superficially and you had the feeling you just wanted to get the knight's meal over with. If you offer a knight's meal then you should be there with all your heart - that was absolutely not the case here. I cannot recommend this inn for friends of the Middle Ages. I was sorry for the money and the driving time.
Very nice service and great cuisine!
Very good food, warm ambience. The homemade spaetzle are very tasty. We recommend.
You can sit in the beautiful beer garden and the food was very tasty, including the grape cake for dessert 😍
If you are in this area, stop and enjoy their delicious food. The service is very friendly and the wine is good. We had the turkey medallions and they were great. Recommend it?
The waitress would be better off in the barracks yard - pretty unfriendly. The dishes are too salty and disappointing at really high prices. When the toilet opens, the waste is already overflowing. Even the beautiful vaulted cellar doesn't help.
Very nice ambience. Great, cozy beer garden. You can sit nicely under the vine leaves and grapes. Fast, friendly, attentive service. Delicious menu, reasonable prices. Gladly again 👍
Very, very tasty
Very nice urriges restaurant with a great beer garden and what I was personally very pleased that in the beer garden there are also unusual herbs that can also be found in the dishes that of a Mr. Schöffers ... who writes there that there are two large aggressive dogs and possibly list dogs. So if the two minor hybrids are common, who followed a crawling tackle my silly pede, I can only say that there are also people who would like to shoot Lassie whom they could do also not ..ergo wonderful food especially the dessert a lavender ice cream with cramelized strawberries was to kneel down and my daughter had a pineapple ice cream with red pepper which also tasted great ... I can only recommend again
The big dogs do not walk in the restaurant at times because it is a dangerous breed and very aggressive ... food is great and service is very nice but will never go there again because of fear of being bitten by the dogs
Very nice, small restaurant on or near the wine route. We sat behind the house in the small beer garden and enjoyed a delicious sausage salad and homemade dumplings. Dogs are not a problem, there are a few parking spaces. The staff is very nice and made sure that the corona rules were observed.
Nice ambience, have made us come here more often. Food was great. Always my pleasure.
The greeting was extremely friendly and courteous. Drinks were served quickly. We also had vegetarians in our group. The menu does not explicitly contain any vegetarian dishes, but the staff was flexible in planning; thus this wish could also be implemented. In terms of taste, you can say that it actually came fresh and was prepared à la minute. The cook understands his craft. Therefore, the 5 stars are earned. In terms of price, you can say that the menus are worth their price. By the way: there are enough parking spaces.
Super seasonal and regional cuisine, very talented and friendly cook who really cooks fresh. Quality and price are really fair. Quiet area, parking spaces are available in the courtyard.
We have been there twice for the knight's meal and also for lunch. The food is always very tasty and it is well worth stopping by when you are nearby. However, it is a small restaurant and you can sit at the table with strangers, but we never mind. The prices are reasonable and the staff friendly.
I loved everything! The place, food, desserts and service.
From the outside very nice tavern, good parking, we found after a nice Pfalzwanderung happened here. Unfortunately, when entering the dining room, you immediately receive a kind of office, where the post office is lying by the week and there is also a lot of clutter. Since it was very nice weather, we headed out onto the terrace and had to go past 2 not very friendly trippy dogs. On the terrace itself are about 7 completely empty tables without any table decoration or menu, an unfamiliar, careless sight. But the terrace itself is delivered with flower pots, but obviously without plan and feeling for a nice ambience. The card was brought by a very rude operation in the sound, which seemed annoyed although there were hardly any guests and we had not even contacted her, so it was certainly not ours. The card contained only a few dishes, which seemed to us for the previously experienced here priced marginally high. We wondered if we wanted to stay at all, but decided to give the restaurant and the kitchen another chance. The food came quickly, was now brought by a male service, also quite rough in the tone. The restaurant is probably a family business, but in the service definitely no one has learned the restaurant area, because friendliness is not their thing, but we consider it to be indispensable when dealing with the guest. The harsh tone is omnipresent and probably philosophy of the house, because he accompanied us until we were gone. Oh, the food was good, quite good. But that's not enough to come back and definitely not for 4 stars, rather with goodwill for 3 stars, too bad, all "problems" are homemade ...
Super delicious, great service and great ambience. If you like rustic and ancient, is in this tavern very well cared for.
Fantastic snack and coffee
Totally great. Delicious food, warm, friendly service and lovely environment. We turned up late for lunch and this was no problem at all. Looking forward to next time!
Top! Delicious, imaginative dishes and salads! Nice service and great atmosphere.
Great food. Great service. Toys for kids. Shaded outdoor eating area
A team that masters its core business. As northern Germans, the local cuisine and the unusual creations appealed to us very much. The wine was excellent. The service was very friendly and attentive. Our food was freshly prepared and very tasty.
Careful of your health????
Good maultaschen, and a proprietor who will stand up for his views. Most of the negative reviews here are because he refused to host a neo-Nazi party event, and the Nazis are writing bad reviews for revenge. As a guest, come here, you can't go wrong.
No English speaking waitstaff but that makes no differenece, just point to anything on the menu and you will not be disappointed. We had seven different meals and everything was fantastic. Perfectly cooked salmon, perch, pork chops, turkey tenderloins and so on. You must try if in the area.
A surprise in this tiny town. Delicious maultaschen and tomato soup.
